Scrap Journal Pages

Remember the texture paste canvas from the previous project? The leftover texture paste on the mask was used on these scrap journal pages... Nothing goes to waste!!

 
Splattered distress inks to reveal the textures... Also added the coffee filter over the background. 
 
Added some stamping and mica fragments to create backgrounds... 

Did some simple stamping on the last page of the journal.

Here's an altered canvas i did... I started off by doing some masking using texture paste.  After the texture paste is dry, i added distress inks and allow the colours to mix and blend...


Addes some embellishments like blings, sticker, ribbon and stamped image to complete the canvas.

Life Snapshot

For PaperMarket's March DT Assignment, i got to work with Prima's Donna Downey Studios - Poppies Peonies Mask...

And here's what I created with the mask. I misted the background PP and embellished the page with clock rub-ons.

 

Also added Creative Imaginations - Gold Crackle Paint on the edges of the PP...

The page was then layered with various chipboards, frames, wood and metal embellishments.

Here's another layout I did today... I'm making use of all the fresh new embellishments i just purchased today! :) I used the alpha stickers as a matt for the title...


I feel inspired playing with all these embellishments!! Added some washi tapes too!!

Hi everyone! How's your CNY been? I enjoyed my holidays in Taiwan. Along with the festive mood, I created a bright and cheery page with washi tapes! Here are the washi tapes I used...


Did some layering and pleating of the washi tapes. Washi tapes were also used to frame the photo.

My favourite use of washi tape on the page is how the washi tapes are semi translucent, revealing the patterns of the PPs behind the tapes.

Here's a layout I did on a wooden board which was painted black...
 
 I distressed and tore the papers for texture... Layered lots of PPs cut-outs and stickers over the photos.
